first big drawing for my object of affection au!! I haven’t drawn any big scenes/lighting stuff like this in AGES so it looks quite off but im happy enough with it :) i especially like how rui looks… concentrating cutely… yapping & closeups under the cut!! again questions/comments about this au EXTREMELY welcome :)

my little ruitoyas hehe. this scene is the night when toya is rescued by Mizuki & Rui, and is Rui making sure Toya’s heart is working correctly. when Toya got dollified her free will & consciousness kinda got “muted”, so when she’s rescued, the first thing Rui does is undo this. there’s another drawing which should go along with this, showing Toya’s initial panic after she regains consciousness and Mizuki soothing her, but i didn’t want to delay posting this until I’d drawn that lol. here, Toya is aware and has her free will back, but Rui is making sure everything is working right and that nothing was damaged in the hassle of everything. Toya is obviously still really confused and in shock and this is all really weird but. What else is she meant to do lol. so she just lets it happen

Rui made her eye into a torch because it’s helpful. but it can also go disco mode. she has fun with it

toya looks a bit more robot than I’d wanted here even though it’s meant to be more of a porcelain doll style, I might play around with how the design looks later on to try show that more. but the glowy heart and wires are her soul being pulled through the body

day 5 of drawing like this (5.5 h) two ruitoya au posts in a row and also in a day wow at least i finally finished art of a ship that isnt haruan or mafuena, kinda gave up towards the end but whatever i need to do stuff witu my ruitoya knight x prince au or just my aus in general instead of letting them chill in my brain i have so many good ones

Actually still surprised ive still been able to finish something every other day even with school even if i said i was able to just do it every 3 days

Aaaaah i have drum class tomorrow but i literally didnt practice at all i know what we were supposed to do is literally the easiest thing ever and i already know it but its been months since i last did it

hello!! my first hc.. and it’s ruitoya!!

one time when they were little kids they got married on the playground (An was the officiant) and they fought over who had to be the groom before An told them there could just be two grooms.

While Toya was having a realization about himself at the moment, Rui was just happy to be getting married to Toya.. When Toya got home and talked about it, his father was like “boys can’t like boys what??” and Toya never talked about it with Rui again.
