Here’s some more #toyhistory - for the first 90-ish years of #toyfair it was held in the #newyork #toydistrict , specifically in the Toy Buildings, also known as “The Treehouse.” They were 2 buildings down by the Flatiron building connected by a sky bridge. ALL of the major toy manufacturers had a showroom (or shared a suit) in these 2 buildings. When I first started going to Toy Fair back in 1999 all my appointments were in these 2 buildings. Around 2006 the buildings were sold and made into condos and everything moved to the Javits Center.
