The Toyoda Loom, development of this loom began in 1891 by a 24 year old Sakichi Toyoda, in 1905 Sakichi Toyoda San would inprove on his invention which would now refill itself without stopping the weaving. It wasn't until 1924 that he would receive the final patents for his Toyoda power loom that we know today equipped with automated (Jidoka) reload and stopping mechanism. Sakichi Toyota San had created what we know today as Toyota Industries Cooperation. It's this loom that's used on most of Dawson Denim Workwear.
