Beyond Betrayal EP launch show (additional Sound work)
So Last Thursday once again thanks to Bryn Tyson(TP Audio/Student) I'd aquired more experiance out of college. This time it was the Beyond Betrayal EP launch Show at Bar Nines in Barrow. We arrived in Barrow at around 2:00pm and arrived at Nines for 2:15pm, By The time I'd left Nines it Was around 1am. My first job after I arrived was moving a few tables about and positioning another one next to the sound desk so another desk could be placed there when the rest of the gear arrived at the venue. After shifting tables I then shifted out a set of Peavy speakers back stage for storage and then to the basement to shift barriers up onto the street and back into the hall. 2 of the barriers were placed to stop people walking near the desk, the other one blocked off the area down the side of the bar where the bands equipment was stored. My next job was setting up mic stands around the drum kit which was for the kick drum, Snare, Hi hats, 2 overheads and 3 toms. after mic'ing up the drum kit i then went onto Mic'ing up the bass amp and the guitar amps. As for the rest of the night i was on the smoke machine.
So during the day i learnt how to Mic up a drum kit properly and guitar/bass amps.
