When I was working on that ( that and this one are on my phone) that it did some sort of glitch so if it looks weird or if there was any problems with it, that’s why.
Heres one, i don think i posted anywheres. Hope you like it
The bell over the door rang out after Chloe finally got the door open to the small business and she shuffled inside as quickly as she could while holding the sleepy Little in her arms.
When Chloe had to wake the girl up once she had finished getting ready for work, she found that the redhead was not only still in Littlespace, but was also wanting nothing to do with being awake.
She’d fussed and whined as Chloe got her dressed back into her now clean clothes until she resolved to just wholeheartedly start crying.
Her tired sobs didn’t settle until they were at least halfway to the bakery, even with Chloe whispering comforting assurances the whole way there as she rubbed her back in an attempt to both soothe her and offer some warmth against the rather frosty morning.
So to say she was relieved to finally have made it to her destination with Red finally having started to fall back to sleep in her arms was an understatement.
“Good morning Chloe! So today’s going to be a little different- Oh Clocks! Red! Is she okay!?” Bridget had walked out from the kitchen area where she had been doing the usual prep she usually finished by the time her employee arrived when she caught sight of the familiar red bundle in the teen’s arms and immediately assumed the worst.
She rushed over to them and placed a hand on the girl’s back as Chloe did her best to assuage her worries.
“Red’s fine.. Well physically. I think she just isn’t ready to be awake yet, so she’s a bit cranky at the moment. I just got her to stop crying.” Red whined at suddenly hearing their voices while she was trying to fall back asleep against her comfy bluenette.
The Little rubbed at her eyes groggily before blinking her tired eyes open to see who it was that was disrupting her sleep, only to realize it was someone she actually was happy to see.
“Bb…” She murmured sleepily, and lethargically held her arms out for the pinkette.
“Oh hi, baby! Aww lookit how sleepy you are!” She stepped forward to take the Little from the teens arms and Red instantly just slumped against her while bringing her thumb up to her mouth, fully intending on soothing herself back to sleep.
“It’s much too early for such a Little girl, isn’t it? That’s okay, we’ll just put you back down in my office so you can go night night, doesn’t that sound so nice?” She cooed to the toddler as she turned on her heel to carry her back into the office.
“Go ahead and make yourself something to drink, I’ve got the Mistrena all fired up and ready to go!” She called over her shoulder to the bluenette who was removing some of her extra layers now that they were in Bridget’s cozy shop.
Red fussed and made grabby hands at the woman once she was laid down on the cot as she wasn’t very happy with being put down. While the cot was in fact soft and comfy, it wasn’t as warm or as comfy as being held by her Bb or Bluey.
“Shhh, Little One, you’re okay. Just close those little eyes and go back to sleep.” Bridget spoke softly as she grabbed the girl’s paci from a box on her shelf and gently replaced her thumb for the rubber soother.
Red started to settle a bit once she was suckling, and Bridget took the opportunity to tuck her in and hand her a pink stuffed bunny covered in hearts she and Ella had bought for her around Valentine’s day earlier that year.
The toddler squeezed her stuffie close, but her droopy eyes still managed to just barely stay open.
“Bb s’ay wif Red?” She asked quietly and Bridget took a moment to brush Red strands from her face as she came up with a reply.
“Bb has some stuff to get done before opening today, but I’ll be coming in and checking on you regularly, and Bluey will be here too! We’ll hear you if you call for us and one of us will come running each time.” The pinkette swore to the girl, but Red fought to stay awake just a moment longer.
“Ewwy?” She asked hopefully and Bridget shook her head.
“Elly’s at work right now Sweetheart, but she’s supposed to come visit us for lunch! You should be awake by then, so I’m sure she would love to see you.” This seemed to satisfy the Little as she nodded and finally allowed her eyes to slip shut.
“Red wuv Ewwy, n Bb n Bluey too!” Bridget smiled at the sleepy smile that blossomed behind her paci for a moment before it went slack as she finally fell back to sleep fully.
“And we love you more, Kiddo.” The baker whispered to her sleeping form before planting a light kiss on her forehead and ensuring the blanket she’d draped over her was pulled up high enough.
She turned back towards the door to see Chloe leaning against the frame with a cafe mug that she was nursing with both hands. The woman noted the soft expression of fondness the teenager held as her eyes were trained on the sleeping Little.
Bridget gestured for them to leave the space and Chloe nodded before the two made their way out and the baker closed the office door very softly as to make the least amount of sound possible.
“Where did you find her?” Bridget asked the younger bluenette curiously once they’d made it back to the kitchen where the bluenette was already setting down the mug to start putting her hair up before washing her hands to get started for the day.
“Well to be honest, it was more like she came and found me. Yesterday she kinda just popped up outta nowhere when I was on my way home from school, and I managed to convince her to come back to my place for a hot meal, and then she ended up slipping while I was cooking.” Bridget’s eyes widened.
“How did you convince her to go home with you!?” Chloe flashed her a smug grin.
“I had a bag of cookies, and I told her she couldn’t have any until she had some actual food.” Bridget chuckled and shook her head.
“Yep, I guess that would do it. Although it’s curious that she slipped. She doesn’t usually fall into headspace without a fight. She must be pretty comfortable with you.”
Bridget didn't miss the genuine smile that overtook the girl’s face.
