( dedicated to @twoboyswhowontgrowup ) Chapter 7. The Demon Beneath The Angel [part 2 ] / Peter's pov / I blinked my eye's open to look up at the ceiling. I groaned slightly in pain from my head hitting the wall when Ella shot me with her ice powers...wait when did she get powers?! Speaking of her, where did the little disappointment go? I sat up to see Jack and the Lost boy's on the other side of the room. He was knelt down in front of them not noticing I was awake until Tootles pointed at me. Jack quickly turned around and pointed his staff at me, he was going to protect them with his life like a guardian would do. I stood there and we glared at each before I turn and left Hang Man's tree. I flew throw the forest until I found Ella walking slowly down a trail, hugging herself. She was pail and her eye's wide as she mumbled to herself as she gripped the watch in her hand. I pulled my dagger out and slowly yet quietly walked up behind her when suddenly she stopped in her tracks. She was quiet for a moment then out of nowhere she started to sing. "Welcome to your life...Theres no turning back, even while we sleep." She slowly started to walk in another direction. "We will find you acting on your best behavior, turn your back on Mother Nature everybody want's to rule the world." She started to leave little traces of ice when ever she took a step or put her hand on a tree, but the ice was now a reddish black color. "it's my own design, it's my own remorse help me to decide..." She then walked up and stopped at the edge of a cliff. "Help me make the most of freedom, and of pleasure nothing ever lasts forever." She slowly turned around to face me with an evil look on her face. "Everybody wants to rule the world." As she said that she fell backwards off the cliff and for some reason I actually tried to reach out for her. Suddenly she flew up into the sky and blacksand surround her changing how she looked. "There's a room where the light won't find you holding hands while the wall come tumbling down." The sky started to become stormy, I got a good look at her from the remaining moon light. Her hair was now a darker red and she wore a black jacket. leggings, and boots. But what shocked me most was her eye's were no longer Jack's bright blue but now a colorless gray. "When they do I'll be right behind you, so glad we almost made it, so sad we had to fade it everybody want's to rule the world!"
