Niederkrchnerstrasse in April 2011. I found it shocking that the Martin-Gropius-Bau was covered in scaffolding so soon after total renovation from the state of a hollow war-ruin was completed. 

Additional: It was actually more like 20 years after, which most people would not call ‘soon after’, I know.

Sun-kissed bliss and jangling surf nostalgia abound as Los Angeles (by way of Brazil) dream pop band Winter teams up with fellow Los Angeles outfit Trabants on a dreamy shimmering, warm glimmering new song named Just Stay. The stand alone single comes appropriately accompanied by enchanting vintage footage to add to its wistful charm. Samira Winter conceived Winter’s sound while in Boston. She’s now joined by Justine Brown, Chelsea Brown, and Anders LaSource as a full band. The quartet released their first full length, Supreme Blue Dream, back in 2015. Trabants is an instrumental surf band who likes to explore vintage recording techniques. The two bands seem to be a perfect fit for each other on Just Stay.
