5.Cemeteries - Barrow (Track and Field Recs)
Barrow, Reigle’s third Cemeteries record is the result of factors both light and dark. Memories of the lakeside town where he spent his childhood summers, his recent move from the east coast wilderness to Oregon’s mountainous beauty, a witchcraft fascination and the argument that John Carpenter’s The Fog might in fact be a better film than Halloween. Reigle has an unblushing love for old, grainy horror movies and while Barrow is a slow-burn love-letter to that obsession, it’s also an archive of his past and a journal of the life he currently possesses.
