i met lauryn hill yesterday :)
cause only two of you had dinner
i found your credit card receipt!
i’ll never get it back, and i think i’m okay with that
his tone is so sensual while simultaneously refined, (not to say these elements are mutually exclusive) but there really is no fat w his album lengths
there’s a cleanliness with which he sings, but the sterility that would typically be associated with this isn’t there!
Kem is able to flesh out his sonic atmosphere and embed the listener in his yearning without over indulging, embellishing, or dragging anything
he maintains this throughout his decades long discography as well, from the first self funded album all the way down to the christmas ones
one of my fav rnb artists for sure
scatter my enemies!
confuse them w little things!
i love his lil intro at the beginning - this performance is so cute n timely
this thing won’t last unless we’re both lying : both flying
