MACK HISTORY!! Frank D. Ward and Ted Ward of the infamous Ward Brothers. (Frank, Ted, Andrew and Willie) originally from ALABAMA - not New Orleans as assumed by many - these brothers became the biggest racketeers in the San Francisco/Oakland area. In addition to being stomp-down Pimps, drug dealers, and gangsters, they were savvy businessmen as well. They had apartment buildings, pool halls, barber shops, various retail stores, and other legal holdings. Frank Ward was the original "Mack of all Trades." He was very fly and flashy. The motion picture, "The Mack" was based around Frank's life. He and his brothers bank rolled the movie. The whips in the film all belonged to the Ward Brothers, even the one Goldie was driving. It is alledged that because of the making of this movie, there were conflicting agendas and ongoing local politics with the Black Panther Party. Though the Panthers were initially infuriated about the making of the movie, they turned their heads to the activity in exchange for monetary pay-offs from the Wards... but when the kickbacks stopped, the Panthers decided to make a move on Frank. Subsequently, Frank, and his bottom broad, Blanche, were both murdered. They were both shot in the head while sitting in his new Rolls Royce in Berkley. He was 32-years-old. He never got to see the film finished. #FrankWard #TheWardBrothers #TheMack #TrackStories https://www.instagram.com/p/B4xVUeXlgvS/?igshid=12zmr3009brpc
