That moment when you accept that your workout’s not done, even though you just busted out 6 x 800 at the oval office in chilly damp conditions. @mcmillanrunning Preheb strength work was up next. Good stats at the track today - 3:25, 3:29, 3:23, 3:20, 3:25, 3:25 for the 800s, just a short 200 jog in between them. My only goal for the 800s was not to be over 3:30 on any of them and otherwise keep the effort fast but controlled. So #missionaccomplished. Then I finished up with 3 x 200 on very tired legs - 46, 47, 45. 7.5 miles for the day. I will back off a little bit now since there is a track meet at the PG County sports complex in Maryland on Saturday.
