Delhi market returns to recent trading highs
SEBS 751 values moved sharply higher this week as the Delhi domestic market reclaimed levels that had not been sustained during earlier trading cycles. Indian SEBS 751 prices closed at Rs 310/kg compared with Rs 270/kg recorded a week earlier, reflecting a weekly increase of Rs 40/kg. The latest movement also lifted the grade Rs 38/kg higher over the fortnight and Rs 60/kg above month-ago levels near Rs 250/kg. Trading sessions stayed mostly stable through much of the period before late-week strength widened the short-term range and pushed domestic activity back toward the upper end of recent market movement.
Broader market comparisons also continued to indicate a significantly firmer structure versus historical trading periods. Around three months ago, the grade was trading near Rs 216/kg while six-month comparisons reflected gains of Rs 130/kg. Year-on-year levels also remained higher by Rs 135/kg against earlier values near Rs 175/kg. Indian SEBS 751 prices therefore continued to remain positioned near recent highs around Rs 310/kg after steadily moving away from the lower trading range near Rs 250/kg. Current SEBS 751 prices in India also reflected stronger domestic positioning despite limited daily volatility during most sessions before the latest rise expanded market movement,Delhi Market, Trading Highs, Market Recovery, Delhi Trade, Price Movement, Market Update, Recent Highs.
