Market steps back after consolidating near highs
RSS3 rubber recorded a weekly decline after maintaining stability near elevated levels for much of the previous month. Prices were assessed at Rs 245/kg on 1 June, compared with Rs 260/kg a week earlier. The adjustment marked a Rs 15/kg decrease and followed several weeks of limited movement. Indian RSS3 Rubber prices nevertheless remain comfortably above levels recorded during the opening months of the year.
A broader view shows that month-on-month values were largely unchanged, with prices also trading around Rs 260/kg at the beginning of May. Recent activity included a high near Rs 270/kg and a lower point around Rs 156/kg. The longer-term trend remains stronger, with prices increasing from roughly Rs 159/kg three months ago and about Rs 143/kg six months ago. Current assessments are also above the Rs 163/kg level recorded one year earlier. Indian RSS3 Rubber prices continue to reflect the significant recovery achieved across the broader period despite the recent pullback. RSS3 Rubber prices in India therefore remain positioned well above earlier benchmarks even after the latest decline.
