the other thing is like. it's not a bad thing to not know about antigone or greek tragedy, but it does create a really funny situation where people look at a character who's existed for thousands of years from a work that's been translated into many languages with tons and tons of writing based on it and go "no one even knows who that is." and then they go "unlike blorbo from my lego show, who everyone has heard of." and it's like... well yes everyone in your circle of fandom tumblr has heard of him. i have never seen that green man before in my life. and you have never seen that greek woman before in your life! this is fine! however it is profoundly funny to act like lloyd ninjago has had more cultural impact than antigone
