Tragoe - Shine

Tragoe Damon, is London-based artist whose folk-revivalist sound draws from the rich textures of traditional Greek melody. Drawing influence from both new wave and congeners like Heilung or Mongolian metal act The HU, Tragoe on his latest track “Shine” combines the mystical to the modern. Trickling over the cascading sound of its percolating lutes against its continued gallop from bowed strings, Tragoe overlays the epic sound of “Shine” to the majestic landscapes of rural Greece in his latest video. Showcasing the picturesque landscape of the Balkan nation, the video shows striking panoramas of Greek forests, waterfalls, islands, and mountains.

Tragoe recently partnered up with Matt McJunkins of A Perfect Circle for the medieval air of previous track “Souls”, which you can check out alongside “Shine”:
