💔 - your muse gives up [ pretty much any desire of having a pet she wants, such as a snake ] for mine {- aerosight}

“What!?  I’m working on getting over my fear of snakes!  I went to the zoo’s reptile house, and I didn’t cry once!  I may have screamed and run in terror a few times from the larger snakes, but normally I don’t even go inside the reptile house.  That’s progress!  Astrid, you don’t have to do this for me!”  

Joseph still totally feared snakes.  But he was trying to give up his fear of snakes for Astrid.  She’d been really attached to that little guy, even if he terrified Joseph.

"There's one thing that's good about you being tall--the hugs." {- aerosight}

“You want a hug now?”  Joseph grinned and hugged Astrid tight, picking her up a bit off the ground.  “What’s so good about my tall-hugs?  Huh?  Hahaha, you liiike them, though!”

“Why is the room spinning?” It was only a couple seconds later that Astrid stumbled, holding onto the table for support. {- aerosight}

“Oh my god, Astrid!”  Joseph ran and scooped her up, kissing her on the forehead.  “It’s okay, lemme get you into bed.  You must’ve gotten knocked on the head or sick and sneezy or something!  I’ll take care of you!  Do you need an ice pack for your head?  Shh, it’s okay!”

He carried her into bed, putting her there and covering Astrid with all the blankets he could find.  “Oh my god, you better be okay!”
