Moving in together was more difficult than expected. Megatron wasn’t used to sharing a room with anyone and found the whole experience very foreign.
First of all Megatron was strict and organised with his room, while Teebs was far from it. He’d throw his keepsakes wherever there was space for them on the shelves. No method to it whatsoever, and that annoyed Megatron to no end. He spent hours having to reorganise the room until it was how he liked it. This was followed by months of Teebs complaining that he couldn’t find anything.
Recharging was another problem. Years of war and assassination attempts had made Megs a very light sleeper, prone to waking up at the slightest noise. Unfortunately Teebs snores, very loudly, it shakes the berth. Megatron quickly wore himself out he had so much trouble recharging. He even tried turning off his audials as he slept, but he was too unsettled to recharge, he could still feel Teebs moving beside him and if an emergency happened he wouldn’t know.
Eventually Megatron discovered that Teebs would only snore when he lay flat on his back. So he just tried pushing Teebs into his side every time he started snoring, but that didn’t work, he’d just flop onto his back an hour later. So Megs did something he never thought he would, night after night he’d spoon with Teebs. With Megs’ arms wrapped firmly around him Trailcutter couldn’t move onto his back and for the first time in ages Megs had a good night’s recharge.
After that Megatron found he much preferred having him there.
