pkmn & gardeners
Hi-ho! I had a fun time with my MIL (& Candyfloss!) at the gardening center yesterday. ☁️🌱🌸
We walked through their beautiful greenhouse, found these flower parasols, & got a haul of spring flowers (I didn’t know grape hyacinths came in white!)
Maybe it’s this insane week (& it’s equally insane weather - summer one day, winter the next 0u0;;) that made me yearn for some green calm. Either way, it led to me returning to Sword as “Gardener Ansy” 🍃
⬆️ Gen 6 Gardener (from Bulbapedia)
So, the Gardener trainer class. 🌿 They first show up in Kalos where, in the main game, they only have Corphish - probably to help water & trim the plants in their care. Meanwhile, in the Battle Maison, they raise powerful Grass & Bug Pokémon - cultivation & pollination, maybe?
When I did my Gardener run in Galar, I decided to expand it a bit with some Ground / digging Pokémon, & Pokémon who learn Grass moves - eg. Darjeeling (Polteageist) learns some Grass moves, probably thanks to tea leaves.
In retrospect, this could’ve been a fun opportunity to try using Sun, but back then my strategies were very basic lol (like “hit the other guy until he falls over” 😂) - maybe some other time? ☀️
Here’s a look at my “Gardener Box” 🌱 Lots of flowers, & lots of friends to help tend them.
Moss (Leafeon) is missing, but she’s in the Eevee Box with her sisters >u<
So I’ve just been running around in my old Gardener fit, catching friends, & today, have some fun in the sun on the Isle of Armor with what my team might’ve been if I were a Gardener now**
**IDK what Skye would do exactly, but Altaria is a very nurturing Pokémon who can learn Cotton Guard, which is a Grass move - also Earthquake, to help till the soil! 0u0
Oh! Cobbler says Happy Pi Day! 🥧🍏🌱 I’m gonna plant my flowers now that the weather’s better, & later make a berry pie.
Until next time! ^0^/
