*casually introduces another OC*
A list of all my current trainer OCs (as of now)
@twihasnogender OKAY THIS IS GONNA BE KINDA LONG BC I WANTED TO ADD OTHER OCS TOO HH
-Blake isn’t really sure what kind of trainer they want to be just yet!! This used to be a question that bothered them a lot but now that they’ve given up their champion title and decided to travel around the world they don’t worry about it as much, they’re still really young so for right now they’ve decided to just enjoy their journey and spend time with their Pokémon while also learning more about different types of trainers/careers involving Pokémon!
-Lucia is a professor who studies legendary Pokémon! When she left home with her Shinx she knew next to nothing about Pokémon so she was always going to different libraries and learning about them, but she ended up stumbling upon a book about the legends of Sinnoh and found it super fascinating! That’s pretty much what sparked her interest in Legendary Pokémon, she’s still a new professor who is also taking care of a sick Latias so she hasn’t made much progress in her research yet but her dream is to meet tons of legendaries and share her research with the world! She also hopes that her research will help people learn to treat Legendary Pokémon with respect and not try to use their power for their own personal gain (which she’s come to notice happens WAY too often. How has the world not been destroyed yet at this point?)
-As of right now, Nathan is extremely lost and unsure about his future. He didn’t really choose to become a trainer, it all just sorta happened after he ran away from home and met a neglected Bulbasaur who ended up sticking with him. At first he never thought he’d have a future with Pokémon training or anything like that, but now he’s found a job at Lucia’s lab and is helping her research legendary Pokémon and also take care of a Latias. While he isn’t sure of what he wants to become, he does really look up to Pokémon Rangers, but he’s not really sure if that’s the career he wants yet.
-Beth is currently satisfied with her job as a Team Rocket grunt, but that’s mostly because she doesn’t see herself becoming anything more than what she already is. Plus, it’s not easy to just leave Team Rocket. Especially when her dad is higher in the ranks and keeps a close eye on her. Though she has pretty much given up on ever having a future outside of Team Rocket, as a kid she used to dream of running away and finding her own path as a trainer.
-Enya someday wants to start her own Pokémon daycare! She made this decision pretty quickly when she first came across a daycare in her travels, though right now she’s focused on enjoying her gym challenge with her friends. She loves taking care of Pokémon, especially baby Pokémon! The owner of the daycare in the Wild Area happily offered her to come work there after she finished her gym challenge, so that’s what she plans to do after her adventure is over.
-Freya was sort of dragged into becoming a trainer by Gold and Enya, she doesn’t like Pokémon all that much and wasn’t too crazy about being a trainer at first. But over time she has bonded more with her Pokémon and has started to like them more. She still doesn’t know if she wants a career involving Pokémon yet, but since she comes from a family who works to protect Pokémon she has looked to becoming a professor or ranger for possible options.
-Out of his friends, Gold is the most ambitious about becoming champion! His mom was actually a champion (won’t specify who just yet) so he wants to follow in her footsteps! He looks up to her a lot and learned a bit about Pokémon training from her when she was still around. He lost her when he was pretty young though, so he kinda had to learn how to train Pokémon himself. This is what made him a great trainer, and growing up he became pretty famous for his skills! He’s currently taking the Galar Gym Challenge and a lot of people thinks he has the potential to win the league.
-Amber wants to become a gym leader (or probably trial captain, since they live in Alola) that focuses on Dark or Ghost types! They have a strong connection to these Pokémon and feels like they’re really misunderstood. If they want to be a gym leader they’ll have to move to a different region, but if that doesn’t end up happening they might try to become a trial captain, or maybe even a kahuna. (There’s already Acerola and Nanu though, so they’re leaning more towards becoming a gym leader)
