I watched ep 14 and i’m just… so happy??

It’s so nice seeing lilie overcoming her fear of pokemon (although only for shiron for the time being). What i like even more is even though her inability to touch pokemon is baffling (she’s not scared, nor she has health issues as I previously thought), her friends never made fun of it. Instead, they support and encourage her to fix her problem.

I also like that she managed to do so because of her love for shiron. Her desire to protect it is strong, she hugged it to save it, even putting herself in danger (this parallels how protag saves nebby in-game imo). Love > fear!

Also, my theory is she became like that because of lusamine. Idk how but it must be, since the only clue we have is her account about how she could touch pokemon before, but after she went to her mom’s main building, she became like that…

Btw, ppl still side-eye pokeani sm for being ‘cute’ and 'childish’? Have they forgotten about the game and how it turned out to be super twisted later on?
