I haven't had the chance to read/post much because Life Nonsense, but I just listened to this video while traveling for the holidays and it does a stellar job of analyzing why the rivalry between Red and Blue (referred to as Green in the video) works so well.

Quick Blog Update

It came to my attention recently that back in January I had posted "hey my mental health is not super great" and then proceeded to (unintentionally) drop off the face of Tumblr. I just wanted to post something quick to address that so anyone who finds this blog in the future won't be concerned.

Long story short: I've been getting mental health treatment for the last two months or so, and I'm finally at the point where I feel more like myself again. Once I adjust to my normal routine again, I'm hoping to return to my hobbies, like running this blog. In the meantime, you'll probably still see me reblogging art and other posts.

The longer story: Depression was killing my motivation, I've been in a partial hospitalization program (PHP) since February, and my meds are finally working and I'm doing a lot better than I was back then.

That said, I don't know when I'll be back to reading PokeSpe and blogging about it again. Right now, I'm focusing on taking care of myself and getting ready to return to my job and "normal" routine. Once that happens, I'm hoping to get back into running this blog, along with my other hobbies.

I feel very fortunate that I had a lot of people to support me through those challenges, that I have an employer who worked with me to get me the time off I needed, and health insurance that will help cover my treatment.

And thank you do everyone who's read and enjoyed my posts during this hiatus! I look forward to sharing more thoughts with you in the future.

I don't know if I still have photographic evidence of this, but when I was like 14 I made a very cheap Yellow cosplay for a friend's Halloween party. If I can find pics maybe I'll post one.

Sorry for sort of forgetting about this blog, my PokeSpe re-read got put on hiatus because my friend got me into Demon Slayer and I spent the last 5 months reading that. So. Back to your irregularly scheduled programming soon, maybe.
