A companion piece to this post
First time: Alex was amazed to be hired right out of college, and by Jennifer Buchanan, the daughter of a great mogul of Castelia city, no less. The salon was a wonderful place to work, it offered her no end of interesting technology problems to solve, as well as a wonderful sight in her new boss. The woman was so beautiful, but she was afraid that showing interest would leave her without a job. One day, she was out front, trying to track down a bug in the wifi when some thugs came in to rob it. As Alex dove to hide, Jen jumped in, tossing out 2 of her pokemon, and drove the ruffians off. Alex was amazed, especially when she was taken back to Jen’s office for tea and comforting. “Nothing will ever happen to you while I am around.” A soft peck on Alex’s cheek sealed the deal.
Second Kiss: Alex’s crush on her boss seemed to be reciprocated, but Jen’s boyfriend kept getting pushier and pushier. Alex hated to see that, hated to see Jen be with such a jerk. Plus, she was certain she saw him go into the back with Nadia twice, and leave with suspiciously ruffled clothes. So when she spotted Jen’s necklace fall off during one of Jen’s boyfriend’s visits, Alex knew what she was getting for Jen for secret santa. She left a note inside, from Santa, stating that he’d seen the pendant fall off, and when she received a text from Jen, she replied with “:*”
Third kiss: Emboldened by the text, Alex remembered Jen’s plans for that evening, that she’d been invited to, but she’d had to decline. Her mother was in town, but when she explained the situation, her mother practically shooed her out of the restaurant, and she headed for the bar. She smiled sweetly to Jen when she walked in, blushing as she was led over to the mistletoe. She melted into the kiss, returning the love and devotion she felt as it was poured into her.
Fourth Kiss: Alex woke up in the wee early morning hours the next day. The previous night was wonderful, and she had just loved being with Jen, but a text from her mother prompted her to leave. She didn’t want to wake Jen, the woman looked so beautiful and peaceful, and she meant to text, but a more urgent text came from her mother, rushing her to the hospital. Four hours later, she was finally certain her mother was stable again, so she rushed back to Jen’s apartment, buying flowers on the way to apologize, even arranged into the shape of a Roserade. She didn’t expect the sex, but it was wonderful, and each kiss on her lips made her love Jen all the more.
Fifth Kiss: New Years Eve, what a wonderful night for an official first date. She loved how the city looked, even employing her Beldum to enhance the romance in the air from the cities lights. As the countdown began, Alex pulled Jen close, eyes fixed with her new love. Ten. She smiled, unsure what she’d done to deserve someone so wonderful. Nine. Jen shared her look. Eight. The people around may as well have not existed. Seven. Alex squeezed Jen’s hand. Six. A firework exploded in the air behind Alex. Five. A heart shaped firework, behind Jen. Four. Time seemed to slow, as both women began to move in for a kiss. Three. Eyes now closed, the world around them ignored and forgotten. Two. Inching forward, certain this was right. One. Alex knew that Jen loved her, and she reciprocated. Zero. Their lips locked, not separating for at least another ten seconds. She smiled wide and had never been happier.
