*Hope approaches Poni, bowing before speaking. She has a slight nervousness to her voice.
Hope: Hello, great one. I'm not sure whether you need some sort of offering in order for me to speak with you. I have brought you some berries and hope that this will suffice.
*She kicks over a bag with a variety of berries in it.*
Hope: I've heard a few tales from one of my mentor figures, the guardian, of Pokémon like you but she doesn't know much about you. Do you protect or govern something like other legendary Pokémon?
Poni looks at the blaziken, dumbfounded at how she talks and acts.
Ehhh...great one? I have a name, you know... it's Poni, in case you didn't hear, and you don't need to give any offerings either. I'm no god or whatever. I'm just the self-proclaimed protector of Kitakami and its people.
The ogerpon then rubs the back of her head slightly.
While we're on the subject, what's a legendary Pokemon? I should ask Shinji about it.
"Ask me what?"
A boy with blue hair and glasses walks into the area, glancing between Poni and the Blaziken while holding a flyer.
"And who is your friend?" Oh! Shinji, you're just in time! Pokemon have been chatting with me while you were gone. I even got to meet two other ogerpons!
"Wait, there's other ogerp- eh that can wait. Right now, I want to talk to you about something." Oh? Well, what's going on? "I think it's about time you got to explore the world outside of Kitakami, and I know just the place to do it."
Shinji shows Poni the flyer.
"It's kinda like the mask festival here, and you can meet other Pokemon"
Whoa really?! But what about the Three? "I got that handled; let's just say I have my own team of three ready to spring into action immediately." Awesome! You're the best, Shinji!
"I try."
And hey, I can use the berries the nice blaziken gave me too, so they won't go to waste!
