The 100th Bomb Group Foundation recently made a post on Instagram mentioning the training classes that were held for crews throughout the duration of the war, especially during the winter months during which the frequency of combat missions was decreased due to poor weather.
Coincidentally, during my many hours of research, I had at one point stumbled upon documents that outlined the classes being conducted on particular days. I wanted to share some examples, and I even took the liberty to highlight classes taught by Harry Crosby because I thought they were particularly interesting. These classes varied from brushing up bombardiers on their navigation skills to navigation exams for lead navigators. Note, some documents of them are more legible than others and so I added some text in areas where the words are particularly faded.
