Do you find the process of learning as much fun as the result? Here is a little before and after of training “nametags/individual targets.” What great progress in just 2 sessions with the fabulous goats and staff members of the @frankbuckzoo . If you look closely you will see each goat learned a slightly different way to engage with the target to earn reinforcers. Goats who initially were challenging to get started ended up progressing fast once they got the concept. Whereas others who started out strong, took more fine tuning to fade out familiar prompts. This to me is the fun part of training. The journey is never exactly the same, which means you get to practice your creativity and decision-making skills to help the animal find the easy path to reinforcement every time you train.
