There are two ways to experience the ancient canals of Xochimilco: a peaceful 6-8 hour excursion surrounded by nature, tradition, and the calming rhythm of the water, or a shorter, lively ride on the party side with drunk tourists and mariachi bands filling the air with music. On this solo trip, I chose the 8-hour tour away from the party scene, and it was absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend it if you have the time during your visit to Xochimilco!🇲🇽❤️
