Synopsis:

Ready for some sacrilege?  I really dont care about Defeater much, id take this band fronted by Derek Archambault over his previous endeavor any day.  Im a sucker for relaxing folk like rock..and this is quite good actually.  Very down to earth folk/rock/emo/indie, whatever you want to call it...its beautiful.  Great for long drives, self reflection, over whiskey, staring out the window at the weather. If I strolled into a quite bar/club with this band performing live...Id stay for both sets.  Grow up a little, okay?

The layout serves its purpose I suppose, but it really wouldn't draw me in either.  I do like the cover photo, however the fonts look amateurish. The back photo shows a very scared or concerned Derek...again not flattering or fitting.  By this for the music, not necessarily the cover art.
