I caught you,” Pascal pointed out, their eyes squinted suspiciously. They weren’t trying to come off judgmental, but his mindset sounded dangerous. He said he wasn’t hurting nobody, but they weren’t sure that they bought that. They cared about their town and they wanted it, and everyone in it, to stay intact for as long as possible.
