No lie I thought I was in some deep shit today
Yeah. So what happened is that after school ended today I went to the bathroom to change out of my school polo into a tshirt and then I stopped by my locker while my cousin was at another teachers' room. We always go to the library a few blocks down the road and wait for our parents to pick us up there (Since they are coworkers how weird is that?) and when I met up with her I told her I had left my phone at home. Her phone isn't even working so she asked her best friend, Rinad, to lend her his phone since he was tagging along with us. My cousin (Taina) Calls her mom, tells her we're on our way to the library, and tells her to notify MY mom that I don't have my phone with me, but I'm traveling with them.
This is where my day turns to shit.
While we were walking to the library, Taina says we should stop at the pizzeria across the street since we're going to be waiting there from 2 to 5:30 or later. Sure why not? She doesn't normally tell her mom she's at the pizzeria (It's no lie a 30 second walk. Her mom is just paranoid she's going to get raped or something, it's ridiculous)
As soon as we get there and order a medium pizza for the 3 of us I realize that my Quinceanera ring is gone and I start hyperventilating because I've had it for less than a week. I got it back last Friday after having it sized because it was too small. I tell them to go ahead and eat and that I was going to retrace my steps back to the school to see if I can find it. I spend almost an hour looking for it before I get back. As soon as I'm walking into the library's parking lot Taina's mother pulls up on her car. Taina and my brother are inside and I'm all confused and crying because I miss my ring and my mom was going to beat my ass when she found out I had lost it.
Apparently, Taina's mother forgot to tell my mom I didn't have my phone so she freaked out and couldn't get in touch with me, while Taina's mom couldn't get in touch with Taina because her phone isn't working and Devin (My brother) Has been waiting for us at the library since 1:30 and its 3PM.
Taina told her mother we were at the library. Devin told my mother that no, we weren't. They're wigging out, I'm a sniffling mess and Taina is in deep shit for not telling her mother she was at a pizzeria across the street.
So the only reason Taina's mom found Rinad and Taina in the first place is because my mom had told her to check because she knew that's where we normally went. Taina is there and so is Rinad with my stuff and I'm not there.
My mom's pissed enough as is it without even me dropping a hint about the ring and I didn't mention it until we were on our way home and I just sobbed my way through it. I never ever cry but I thought I was in such deep shit today I just sobbed and she let it slide. But now I'm in my room and I don't want to come out in case she changes her mind and beats my ass anyway .,.
And I still don't have the ring and I'm still sobbing.
I don't even know if this makes sense but I just typed this out I didn't proofread it so yeah
