The Most Tranquil Beach in Bali

The sparkling blue ocean and calmness of this beach made me fall in love. Yes. Virgin beach in Karangasem, Bali, Indonesia.

Virgin beach is located in Jalan Raya Bukit Asah, Bugbug Village, Karangasem District, Karangasem Regency, Bali, Indonesia. This beach is reachable either by car or motorcycle via bypass Prof. Ida Bagus Mantra, Gianyar to the east. It’s about 1 hour 45 minutes from the heart of Denpasar City.

This beach is so pretty and calm. It becomes the perfect spot to enjoy the scenery and warming sun. Many people come for tanning and having a picnic at the shore. Several kiosks sell food and beverages, accessories, and some Balinese souvenir. You can also enjoy the massage with some beautiful therapists.

One thing I regret from this lovely beach is the plastic garbage spread out on the sands, and nobody cares to even pick their own trash and throw them to the bin. Hope someday this place can be more well-maintained by the management.
