I wish there was more out there in terms of posts and such on T4T weddings, I've seen some photosets and one in particular made me cry tears of joy, yet still, I've seen many that are about things like having come out after having a cis partner for a long time and re-marrying them etc, which is still awesome but it feels a lil' isolating to see very little in-depth conversations/posts on flat out T4T weddings and experiences around it.
On my own end I've been thinking if who in my life I should invite, some people I'm stealth to, others I'm not, some I wouldn't trust in an LGBT+ environment, some somehow still seem to expect our wedding to be traditional and heteronormative even though we're both trans men, and I don't have a point of reference for what might work out best lol. I don't want my partner to deal with nonsense from family of his if they weren't invited, and others who are more ignorant I wouldn't want to be weird to LGBT+ guests even if my partner and I could deal with it.
If anyyyyone has experience with this and input pleeease feel free to talk about it.
Fun fact: I got engaged a few days ago
We have temp rings until I can forge them. Then no ceremony or legal wedding, just a byob (bring your own blanket) picnic in a park.
