I mean, in some very interesting Technically Correct ways, they didn't actually die? Now, they're very much no longer alive. But the forces involved are such that they didn't get any of the usual cellular processes of death, they simply went from biology to physics in less time than it takes a signal to travel down your optic nerve.

The Seven Havens trailer didn't really do anything for me.

It feels way too fanfic-y and like I said a year ago when the show was first announced, I legitimately hate the fact that the online discourse surrounding Korra's character is now an in universe plot thread.

Yes, I understand that Bryke had to address Korra's controversial character status in universe because she ended becoming a very polarizing character thanks to their shoddy writing in Legend of Korra, but I dunno man, this feels desperate.

Plus I'm not really a fan of the post apocalyptic stetting, as again, it feels way too fanfic-y.

I saw some folks complaining about the new art style and while it does look like Voltron Legendary Defender, I'm sure everyone will get used to it eventually. I'm pretty sure they went with a more simplistic art style so they didn't have to worry about going over budget.

I know tons of folks are most likely going to accuse me of being a nitpicky asshole, but I gotta be honest, I'm not really impressed with what I've seen so far.
