Kenneth who experiences dysphoria 'cause a medical condition he had gave him tiddies and he's been rejected by doctors when he asked them to remove them. Kenneth who also figures out how to make his own binders and writes an instruction manual on how to. Trans Sal who finds the manual in the church basement while helping Travis clean it out and makes a copy of it.

The one good thing Kenneth can do wasn’t even intentional.

Trans Sal telling Travis (not transphobic and enby) getting the biggest apology and hug.

I usually think if not cis Sal would be trans-masc and fluid. So while he feels a more masculine body befits him, he still prefers to be neutral in gender terms (he/they are fine. But NEVER she).

Travis helps Sal with the binder and tries to alter it so it’s much more comfortable as Sal is much smaller than Kenneth.

Larry finds them cuddled up looking at new ways to help Sal feel more comfortable in his body before he gets (if he considers) surgery! Larry likes to help by driving the two to late not shops to find what they need or forage for whatever was listed by a younger Kenneth.

I like how they could really bond over this. And get to know eachother better through a younger Kenneth’s life lessons. Even though older Kenneth is worn down and every single phobic, Travis appreciates the younger less corrupted Kenneth. (Not that he’d ever tell his father. In fact he still salts the coffee and sugars the pizza.
