This has been knocking around my head for a while and I can't fit it in any of my WIPs so here it is on its own.

"Dads can I talk to you for a minute?" Seb said and sat down at the kitchen table.
"Sure, what's up?" Aaron asked as he and Robert both sat down too.
"Remember... Uhm... Remember when you said I could be anything I wanted?"
"Of course."
"Have you decided what you want to study when you’re done with school?" Robert asked
"No... Not exactly."
"Ok. So what is this about then?"
Seb was silent for a while and started drawing circles on the table with his fingers.
"I don't know how to tell you..."
"Are you in trouble?" Aaron asked.
"No. Not really... I'm... I'm scared."
"Scared? Of what?"
"That... That you won't love me anymore... And kick me out and make me go live with mum." Seb admitted staring at a spot on the wall above his parents' heads.
"That's impossible." Robert said immediately. "If you want to go live with your mum, that's fine, but we'll never kick you out. No matter what."
"Exactly." Aaron agreed. "Now do you want to tell us what's going on?"
Seb took a deep breath, trying to hold back the tears.
"You always say I can be everything I want... Does... Does that count for other things than just jobs?"
Robert and Aaron looked at each other, thinking they knew where the conversation was going.
"Of course." Robert insisted. "You're our son, we love you no matter what."
Seb started crying and shook his head,making both of his parents rush over to him and hug him.
"I... I'm not... I'm not..."
"What do you mean? You're not what?"
"I... I'm not... not your son. I'm not a boy. I... am a girl."
"What? Are you sure?" Robert asked, earning him a glare from his husband.
Seb nodded but still wouldn't look at his parents.
"Alright. That's OK. Do you want us to call you she and her now?" Aaron asked
"You're not angry?"
"Of course not." Robert promised "Just tell us what you want and what you need and we'll do it."
"Have you known this for a long time?" Aaron asked and Seb shrugged. "Well your dad and I are dead proud of you for telling us."
"Yeah?"
"Absolutely."
"Just tell us what you want us to do and we will. I promise." Robert said again. "You're our kid and nothing is going to change that. If you want us to use different words or a different name, we will." He pressed a kiss to the top of Seb's head while Aaron wiped the tears from his face.
"I... I think I'd like you to use she and her... But I haven't really thought of a name yet..."
"That's fine. Just let us know when you do." Aaron said.
"You know, you were a few days old when we named you. And your mum wanted to call you Storm at first." Robert said and the three of them laughed a little.
"Yeah so whatever name you decide on, it will be a step up from that." Aaron joked.
Seb nodded and wiped at her eyes.
"Will you help me tell mum?"
"Of course we will."
