Why are we so typical?
What do us individuals proceed to in everyday life that makes us mentally and physically stronger?
From my point of view, if I was given this question without having to do any research, my answer would be ‘practise’. If I was to back this up with my own opinion, it would never be as broad as a multidisciplinary domain. From the study of 18th century(Dictionary.com, 2016), origin of multidisciplinary was a concise of combining or involving several academic disciplines or professional specialization in an approach to a topic or problem(Jan Wind, 2013). But around this time, the study of brain function was almost non-existent as psychology was only a part of philosophy until the 19th century when interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary had been in practise. These domains have been around for so long but us humans still do not realise what it takes to express ourselves physically and mentally.
In today’s world, the idea of having technology around us in everyday life has taken over our mind and to the conclusion where most of us stick to one area than being extremely explorative and learning about new areas. I think that the idea of specializing is a modern idea yet, is very unhelpful. This is because people get fixed on a track, under one area and forget to explore which demonstrates the narrow thinking as the areas itself is just an idea which attracts our attention(debate.org, 2017). The blame was never filed under technology even though I continuously blame the technology because the guidance from tech is prior knowledge we have which can be developed using the three domains which indeed relates to more than one branch of knowledge, research, experiment and implement. This is also one way of keeping yourself interested is by focusing on different areas and having the brain to function equally as the other parts of the brain would then be lacking on things that could be useful but useless when it is needed.
This is a playful approach. Experiences make us who we are then why are we not reflecting? Referential information gives you the grade but experiments gives you the experience.
