Was visiting my sister and her husband over Ritual Turkey Sacrifice weekend and bro-in-law was stumbling over my new pronouns/gender identity. Nothing malicious just breaking old habits. At one point he apologises and I told him that it's OK. That for this early in the process I'm "feeling fluid. Like beer. Bubbly and intoxicating"

At which point my big sis chimes in with "also surprisingly bitter and tends to help you make bad decisions."
