Sharp eyes shift over papers and files, a finger flicks the on switch and microphone is blown into and cleared of dust. Thursday... she could never get the hang of Thursdays--probably because it was a day before battles, or more because one day she would relate to Arthur Dent in 1979. But that day had yet to come, for today was announcement day and there had to be several staff changes.
Clearing her throat, the feed finally had a voice to ring through it and she was not about to be short about this either... "Hello, Thursday, you all know what that means: Announcements." Her eyes dodged over the paper, leg twitching as he toes curled around the seat of her chair. "I'd like to welcome BDE-811720 or Mr. Oskar Ritterliche to BLU. He will be our first member of the defense class and thus the head of such. I'd like you all to be kind to him--that goes for you, Grass and Butcher--and welcome him here."
The feed doesn't cut, but her recording stops as he labels, files and sets in a new tape, leaving the microphone in silence with a few scuffles here and there, until she returns. Slowly sitting down, Mia repositions herself before continuing, a new file in her hands.
"That's... not it though. Um, in order for us to take more in, we have to let someone go; I'm sorry to say it, but Mr. Schneider will be leaving us to join RED. Due to the income of medics and the lack of such on their side, you will be joining them today, without further argument. I expect your ass out of here by midnight, either that or I kick your ass out. Your move." Saying no more, recording stops, as does the feed. That's it... it's done. How she can wait to see her own medic on the battlefield tomorrow.
