😁 Hehehe I'm glad you like the memes!! I haven't actually written any full fics for these two unfortunately, but I have made a couple aus! 👀

Got one where the Substitute succeeds in skinning Ryan in season 5, but Ryan manages to wish for the Professor back before the Substitute can finish him off. That one's super fun, has the Professor finding Ryan's body in a back room and having to get help from someone else to wish Ryan back to life (along with just dealing with the Substitute who's currently pretending to be Ryan)

And another au where Ryan gets turned into a puppet accidentally due to genie shenanigans (specifically a puppet similar to what the Professor looks like, not necessarily a puppet that looks like human Ryan.) That one's much fluffier and very silly 😁 (My friend @digital-dumbass actually wrote a fic about it semi-recently which was super fun!)

If you're ever interested in hearing more about either of these aus I'd be more than happy to yap at you about them! 👀 Sorry I don't have any actual fics to offer you though, I haven't written a full fic for anything in a hot minute 😔

Also, one of my absolute favorite scenes of them would have to be the constellation scene from Season 5, which is still one of the most romantic things I've ever seen. (WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU MADE RYAN ONE OF THE FIRST CONSTELLATIONS EVER CREATED, THAT'S ROMANTIC AS FUCK)

THESE AUs ARE SO SO GOOD 👀👀👀 I've always been interested in scenarios exploring what would have happened if the Substitute had succeeded, and one where the Professor is back, but Ryan isn't is aBSOLUTELY HEARTBREAKING AUGH :'( The Professor was just starting to finally get over their feelings of resentment, and yet he couldn't amend it in time. Plus dealing with a homocidal clone of yourself pretending to be your dead best friend is tERRIFYING O.o I've always believed S5 has the potential to be psychological horror, and the AU sounds like it taps into that. I'm eating it up!!!

OOOOO I'VE READ THAT FIC!!! IT WAS REALLY CUTE!! (Fic link if anyone else reading this wants to read it tee hee) I also love the idea of a puppetified Ryan. I've been meaning to write a fic exploring that, but my writing motivation has been beaten up o+< I did make a design for Puppet!Ryan though! (Alongside Human!Professor tee hee). I really like the idea of involving genie shenanigans for the AU, that's very silly.

I would LOVE to hear more about the AUs!! And it's alright if you haven't made a fic in a while ^^ I'd still like to read your ideas regardless! Also holy moly I just realized Professor and the dinoparents made the first constellations in the PH universe. Oh my god give me a minute I'm gonna aheemheeeeeeemmmmmm.

"The Prince's Farewell" for the fake fic title

Janus isn’t royalty, although it would be easy to assume otherwise. He lives in the palace, he eats the ridiculous amounts of food prepared for him, and he spends his time being tutored with the crown prince himself, Logan. But Janus was born a farmer on the outskirts of town. He’s only here because he looks uncannily like Logan, and sometimes, a prince needs a doppleganger.

Janus doesn’t mind. It keeps Logan safe to have Janus wearing the crown in tough situation, and he’s only been attacked twice. He doesn’t mind risking his life for Logan. This is a better life than he’d ever dream of, Logan is becoming a close friend, and even the king and queen tolerate him. He’s perfectly happy being the decoy prince.

Then the king and queen announce that Logan has received a proposition of marriage. That would be all fine and good, except their spies tell them it’s likely to be a trap. They’re trying to lure Logan to their kingdom to kill him. However, if it is legitimate, an alliance would strengthen both their kingdoms. So the king and queen decide to send Janus instead, with Logan posing as his servant. If the offer is real, Logan can swap places with Janus in time for the wedding, and everyone lives happily ever after. If it’s a trap? Well, Janus is disposable.

The problem comes when Janus first meets Prince Roman, heir to the throne of Claryn. Because oh no, he’s hot.

And respectful. And kind. And funny. And ridiculously good at impressions. And a great dancer, and a wonderful listener, and a fantastic singer, and--oh no. Janus has a crush on this stupid prince his best friend is supposed to marry.

It’s not like Roman doesn’t like him back. Roman does. Or at least, he’s good at pretending so the marriage can happen. But Roman thinks he’s courting Logan, not Janus. Janus is a shell, a facade, a pawn in political machinations no one bothers to inform him of. He can’t ever be a real person that Roman can love, and he can’t ever be selfish enough to love Roman back. It doesn’t matter that the real Logan isn’t thrilled about marrying Roman, he’ll have to. And Janus will have to watch.

But playing the part, which is usually Janus’ specialty, gets harder by the day. Roman is luring out his own wit and banter, all the personality Janus tries to keep hidden. Roman’s younger brother Remus seems to know more about the situation than he’s letting on. And although Janus hasn’t seen a single sign of treachery, the king and queen are still paranoid that it’s a trap.

Then in the middle of a ball, the assassins show up.

Okay. It might be a trap.

Oh boy here we go, it’s my specialty!

We know Roman loves to sing - We’re fully aware of this. However I fully believe that Deceit sings well too. His singing is probably lower, more smooth, and the first time Roman heard Deceit sing, he absolutely melted. Late at night when the two of them are in bed and Roman’s struggling to sleep, he’ll ask Deceit to sing for him and Deceit is always happy to do so for his boyfriend.

💙 Roman headcanons please?

of course!! - he’s seen The Princess Bride about 13 times and knows almost all of the lines, his goal is to memorize the whole movie - not mine but he has a Broadway mirror with all the lights around it - if you ask him what is favorite Disney movie is he’ll start speaking fondly about multiple Disney movies, but he won’t answer the question. Just ramble about Disney.
