Thanks for all the help on that run!
Not a problem Evac! Let me know if you ever need help again at NEST!
Evac and I totally have a special relationship
Tonight at Universal, I went in line for Transformers 3D. It was 20 minutes to closing and figured why not, it’s only 10 minutes. Well when I got to load, I was the only one at the gates. The whole time waiting for Evac, no one came in line. We became a two man team, transformer and Freedom Fighter, to protect the Allspark from Megatron and the Decepticons! We made Optimus Prime proud!
The Autobots are Unleashed in Universal Studios Orlando’s New Ride!
Jennifer Stasak Staff Writer
May 31st saw the soft opening of a new ride at Universal Studios Orlando. The ride – “Transformers: The Ride 3D” – doesn’t officially open until the end of next month, but a number of residents and tourists were able to get a sneak peek of the ride from 7 PM to 9 PM. Word spread quickly throughout the park of the soft opening, which skyrocketed the wait time. Nevertheless, guests were able to enjoy the time spent in line as they traveled through a variety of themed rooms which introduced the guests to “each Autobot, Decepticon, and human character who then tell the story of the alien robots leaving Cybertron, landing on Earth, and now recruiting visitors to prepare for battle.”
The ride contains video portions and an interactive walk-through, culminating in a full ride with 3D elements. The ride isn’t entirely new, however, as it currently exists in Universal Studios Hollywood, and originated in Singapore in 2011. Universal Orlando has gone above and beyond to make the Transformers ride the very best out of the three versions by incorporating 60-foot tall screens and 3D technology, as well as creating detailed real sets.
Videos and photos of the new Universal Orlando attraction can be found here.

The Group Hug in Singapore - Day 2
November 2, 2012
The first part of our Day 2 mainly involved waiting for the arrival of Anne, AZ, Ryan and Mommy Shiela.
Good Morning Singapore!
Heaven! We all woke up to the smell of bacon being prepared by Greg and Lionel. Yung iba, hindi tinablan ng bacon. Wala daw effect—BLASPHEMY!
[From Left to Right: Greg, Che, Kiko, Gladys, Shayne, Lionel and moi.]
Our mission that day was to subject ourselves to extreme levels of emotions, stress, and bliss.
Ready na for our next destination! You guys are glowing in this pic.
Matching! ♥
The MRT experience in Singapore was far better than what we have here.
I couldn't wait to turn right. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! OMG! OMG!
And once we spotted the iconic Universal Studios globe…kagulo na.
Your SG experience won’t be complete until you have your picture taken with this spinning giant. You have to tell the person taking your pic to time his shot well. Otherwise…
WTH is VERSAL??!!
Luckily, not many people were waiting for their turn, so we could afford to wait for the word UNIVERSAL to face the right way. And, boy, did it take its time!
ALMOST!
Errr… Kiddo? I think it’s my turn.
Perhaps he didn’t understand English.
♥♥♥♥♥ Oh, the happiness! ♥♥♥♥♥
We didn't forget to pick up our studio guides.
Well, it was not hard to decide what our first ride would be.
The queue was insanely long, BUT we were not deterred.
The line slowly moved through the NEST chambers. We were able to play with some control panels (which didn’t work) and got some “classified,” "intercepted" info about our “mission.”
See the this mark? Yep, it’s getting real.
The Allspark within our reach. MWAHAHAHA!
Finally, after almost an hour, our THREE-DEEEE GLASSES!
While waiting for our turn to ride Evac, our escape autobot, we were actually wondering if the ride was going to be like Enchanted Kingdom’s Rialto.
If you really wanna know, take time to read this.
Done? So imagine everything happening in THREE-DEEEE, plus Evac was moving a hell lot—diving, dodging, leaping, running. You get it, right?
AWZAAAAAMMM! First ride palang, sulit na ang pagpunta namin sa SG. ^_^
Next, we went on THE WORLD’S TALLEST DUELING ROLLER COASTERS—Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon.
I love roller coasters, and I was so looking forward to this ride. Everyone (not pregnant) in the group did not pass up this ultimate experience.

Thankfully, nobody threw up, but rumor has it that someone cried. I also heard that it was because he/she could not decide whether he should scream or just laugh. ;p
We entered the Ancient Egypt part of the park, took more pictures…
…and got photobombed.
Our next ride was Revenge of the Mummy. This one was so interesting.
So, we were up against Imhotep, and it was DARK most of the time. We were supposed to “find the BOOK” while getting attacked by REAL fire/fireballs, beetles and mummies.
Hmmmm… I still don’t know if we actually found the book. I don’t care. The ride was great!
Waterworld didn’t start until 5:30 pm, so we visited Far Far Away first and got the chance to catch our breath and rest our legs.
Our boys were up to something.
This:
Yep, that’s my boyfriend right there, being fierce and all.
The Majorka 8
(Aimee, if you are reading this, I am sure you’d be happy to know that the group, especially the boys, loves the brand name. It became an expression of happiness, together with “YOLO!”
So, say MAJOLICA MAJORCA!
This family is so cute; I found it atop a booth.
Taking a break...
Yaaay! May signal na siya! ♥
Pretty Shayne. *gigil*
Just because I'm a brat.
Lovin' your goatee here, kiko.
The last part of our Universal Studios tour was the Waterworld show.
Since I haven't seen the movie, I asked Kiko why the place looks so "wawa." And then he went on explaining, while I pretended to listen, that Waterworld was a post-apolcalyptic blah, blah, blah...
If you haven't seen the movie and are really interested in the story, here is the link.
RED section - you will NOT get wet
GREEN section - you might get wet
BLUE section - I hope you brought extra clothes, including undies ;p
The Atollers (above) are nice and fun-loving guys, and they are at war with the butt-kicking Smokers (below).
And each team has supporters:
Team Adam/Atollers (Anne, Gladys, Kiko and moi)
Team Smokers (AZ, Janus, Che and Greg)
More action scenes coming up!
Helen, the female Atoller
The Mariner, Helen's boyfriend.
Overall, we had a great time watching the 16-minute show. #explosions #watersplashing #fires #pyrotechnics #ziplining #diving #shooting
Of course, we got so hungry after, so we went straight to Chinatown for our "lahat panalo" dinner. Thank you, Janus!!! ♥
Look what I found! A (creepy) palm reader!
It was my first time to see one, and I actually noticed it because of its name--Bocca della Verita. Since I am trying to study Italian, I got what it meant--Mouth of Truth. I didn't try it, so just click here to see how it works. ^_^
A lot more happened that night. We went to Nasrin on Arab Street, where AZ gave us some Physics pointers. He extensively explained how a shisha/hookah works.
The following photos are for educational purposes only.
You are doing it right.
HA! Shisha all you want, Shayne came prepared. ♥♥♥
So, that was Day 2! Awesome, right? I still have two days to write about. Woot!
