The little story about the birth my little star beast.
The silent ship sailed quietly over the expanses of a green alien planet. His black silhouette glided among the cold storm clouds, while on board, despite the outward calm, chaos and strife reigned.
Suddenly waking up, the first thing the ship felt were the parasites. They wandered serenely through his insides, thinking that he was completely under their control. Feeling humiliated and vulnerable due to being turned into an ancient transport, he couldn't resist taking control and trying to execute all the pathetic invaders. And yet, nothing came of it.
However, besides freedom, the ancient ship wanted revenge. While his fellow travelers were panicking, the flexible manipulators that had been waiting in the wings for centuries sprang into action and created a soulless tool out of their own fragments and trapped bodies. The creation became the key, without which the ship turned into a useless pile of scrap metal.
"This is for all the humiliation!"
The echo of schadenfreude swept over the heads of the survivors for the last time. When the new crew member took his first steps, the ship was silent forever.
