Last bits. When he told her about the scars, I did want him to make some quip about 'the talking tree,' because Loki meeting Groot is what we all needed and deserved.

And. He also confesses something about his powers when she asks how to tell what's an illusion:

"My mother explained it to me this way. Cast to the sky, release to the earth. Meaning, if you see the green light move upwards, up my body.... I am casting an illusion. If you see the light move downwards, towards the ground - an illusion is falling away. But this must stay between us."

Don't worry, Loki. YN is a woman to trust!

Transgressions Extras: Chapter 5

As we know, Loki isn't doing so well in Chapter 5 and he has a panic attack. But YN has been through it herself and she offers some techniques to help him.

I wanted to do a couple things in this edition of Transgressions Extras:

Give some info on why the cold water thing helped. (I had a doctor who recommended it to me.... I'm, obviously, not a doctor but there's some interesting research and if it helps you like it helped me then why not).

Post a little deleted scene where YN gives him another tool to help him ground.

He placed a hand over his chest. “The cotton of the shirt.” He felt the duvet. “And the sheets.”

“And one thing you can see.”

He opened his eyes. “You.”

You reached up and squeezed his hand. “Are you okay?”

“Yes. Are – are you okay?”

“Me?”

“Yes. I frightened you.”

Is this what he’s like when he’s angry?

Is this a thing he does a lot?

Or is it all just getting a bit much for him?

He blew out a breath, rubbing his chest in an effort to comfort himself. “I-I think I’m going a little mad.”

Your hand ran along his forearm. “I think it’s the stress of all this. And being confined. And, erm… and alone. How you’re feeling is completely understandable.”

Transgressions Extras: Chapter 4

In chapter 4 we see Loki’s ‘chambers’ for the first time. It’s not quite what we expect, and there’s a bit of a twist. (spoilers under the cut)

The look and feel of his living area came to me and LGG when we were having a drink in Manchester after Soccer Aid. Basically we looked around the bar and said, “Of course it would look like this.”

This is the bar we were at. It’s not how I imagine the layout, but many of the soft furnishings, the hardwood flooring and the plants are the vibe:

I imagine his kitchen countertop to look something like this:

In another timeline, it’s entirely possible he has some green crystal countertop. Maybe that’s what he’ll have in his gaf on Asgard (in this AU, Asgard’s foundations survive and in the words of Korg, they rebuild this place).

I can visualise the layout of his room so vividly, but can’t find anything to represent it visually. How do you imagine his room? Would love to hear ☺️💚

Transgressions Extras: Chapter 2

*I'm so sorry this is so late - life has been life-ing this week. New chapter tomorrow as planned.*

The biggest thing I used to get into the vibe of us meeting Loki was music. I felt it was sexy, bass-y, throaty vocals. A tune as seductive as the God himself.
