Photos from my last night in Japan, reflecting on the trip from my hotel room. This has been quite literally the greatest experience of my life, and all I can think about since I got back in June is returning for the next summer study tour in 2019 as a TA (travel assistant). The good news is that now that the study tour is complete, yours truly has now officially completed her bachelors degree in history! What's next? Grad school, Fall 2018 - UMass Boston! Thank you Bridgewater State University ... it's been an incredible five (😑) years. I should add that the first two were spent at a local Community College obtaining general education requirements and completing an associates degree in communication. Here's my official plan for grad school - 2-3 years or as quickly as possible, then begin teaching at a CC or State College, then enroll in a doctoral program as soon as is possible. Are y'all ready for my Master's Thesis topic? - Historical LGBT legends of Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period) 🇯🇵💜🌈⚔️ This will also give me a chance to travel back to Japan for "research" ... stop it the work will actually get done, promise!! 🤣 This is way too important of a topic to not pour my heart into ... That being said, I'm working on improving my 日本語 every day, and it's only getting better by the day. またね 日本 ... たんお しみに しています 💜
