So pissed right now
Wow! As if my friends and loved ones don't have enough to deal with just by being who they are. The recent " trans awareness " movement has exposed a new breed of stupid. Exhibit A: message I received a few minutes ago:
"It's so cool to see your posts. My boyfriend is trans and I'm a avicate too. I only date trans guys now,(they are so hot)but only if they're passing. It would be so hard if everyone thought I was with a girl. ...blah blah blah... So yeah its cool talking to you. You're pic are so fire. Our boyfriends are lucky. I bet most trans guys don't get to date girls like us much.. Blah blah blah... More vapid girl rambling"
It's late, I'm tired, I don't have the energy to break down everything that is wrong about this message, so the points listed below will have to do for now.
1) I'm not a girl, I am a woman, more specifically, a lady.
2) say it with me "ADVOCATE"
3) dating a trans person does not make you an ADVOCATE.
4) TRANS IS NOT A FETISH!
