Students Get Transit Windsor Break On Fares @WindsorTransit #YQG

(WINDSOR, ON) – Transit Windsor is offering all elementary, secondary, and post-secondary students a price break during March Break. Students will pay just one dollar between March 11 and March 17, instead of the regular cash fare of $3. This applies to all city buses, but excludes the tunnel bus and special event services. Students must show a valid student card when paying their fare.

(WINDSOR, ON) – The Detroit-Windsor Tunnel will be closed for nine full days between October 20, at 8pm, and October 30, at 5:30am. During the nine days of closure the Transit Windsor Tunnel Bus will not be operating nor servicing special events in Detroit. It makes me laugh that University of Windsor would try to implement this AGAIN! If they ever looked at the numbers of students who actually took the bus to school, they would realize how stupid the idea is. I was there in 2005, on the UWSA council and knew it would fail then too.
