Houndy
a skit from nisekoi: yomeiri!? i got through tonight left me feeling particularly peeved, so i’m going to talk about it.
the skit starts out with a frantic seishirou running to raku and asking for advice. he drags raku to the roof, where he tells him something he hasn’t even told chitoge yet: he’s found his biological parents!
seishirou goes on about how he got a message from a family by the name of yamamoto, saying they were looking for their daughter. he assumes these are his real parents and that yamamoto is his true surname. he then tells raku that, while he really wants to meet his biological father, he also doesn’t want to leave beehive.
however, instead of advice, raku tells him that he got the exact same message. seishirou, being naïve, assumes that this means raku’s also part of the yamamoto family (i think, lol). raku them clarifies that it was just spam mail, something that seishirou somehow didn’t know existed. the punchline here is seishirou’s reaction to that:
he’s clearly distraught!
i’m gonna be real, i’m not the sharpest tool in the shed, so i fell for it at first myself. i was gonna stop playing for the night but the skit pulled me in. it was too good to be true, was supposed to answer a burning question i had. but alas, it was all just a joke.
a lot of seishirou’s skits are like this. jokes about every bit of his identity are cracked at his expense. i love this game a lot, since it gives us content canon never would, but it also makes me so angry lmfao. in a good way.
anyway, that’s it for tonight, hope you liked this summary/translation? see ya!

It’s true: Ayako Kawasumi dislikes Shirou and loves Gilgamesh
I have been seeing comments from Fate fans in different social networks for years, and some of them (especially Shirou haters) ask the same question over and over: ‘Does Saber’s voice actor really dislike Shiro and loves Gilgamesh?' As there is little explicit information about the topic in English, I have taken the time to check some Japanese websites to give them an answer, and it is: yes, she does dislike Shiro and loves Gilgamesh.
Rejoice, Kinken fans and Shirou haters! This is not a myth, and I have collected some proofs to show you.
Ayako Kawasumi (Saber’s voice actor) has really stated many times that she dislikes Shirou and loves Gilgamesh, and this has been particularly evident in Fate Stay/Tune, a radio series of 28 episodes in which the different seiyuus of the classic Fate series used to talk about the story and have some fun creating their own dialogues and recreated hypothetical situations. These tunes have been divided in two CDs you can buy from Amazon Japan and similar stores.
If you take a look at Japanese blogs, you’ll see that many fans ask for a special radio episode in which Ms. Kawasumi asks Kana Ueda (Rin’s seiyuu) to play Gilgamesh’s role to help her recreate a situation in which Saber rejects Shirou telling him that she can’t accept his feelings because she is in love with Gilgamesh. That episode is the last one of all the radio series, and you can download it from this link (you need to hear the last part, from 36′ to the end). If you prefer to listen to it online, here’s the NicoNico link (you’ll need an account there to be able to listen to it, though).
Note that that is not the only episode in which Ms. Kawasumi expressed her preference for Gilgamesh, Japanese fans say it was a repetitive pattern during the 28 episodes, and that she had to apologize later.
Also, another time in which Ms. Kawasumi expressed that she prefers Gilgamesh over Shirou was on October 6th, 2014 for Fate Stay/Night Unlimited Blade Works premiere in an event that took place in Osaka. Ms. Ueda was a guest there and said that Ms. Kawasumi often told her during the recording sessions of the anime: 'I dislike Shirou! I prefer Archer or Gilgamesh!’.
I hope it helps Fate fans who have always been wondered about this.
To my YGO followers who aren’t into Fate series: I will make more YGO posts, don’t worry.

The labor that busies bees,
they who drone, monotone,
who laze, redolent of sweet nectars,
who worship, perhaps, a different god,
is more noble in its pursuit of bloom
than Man in all his myriad endeavors.
