Re-Birth

April 10, 2015 I had an emotional breakdown and had an appointment with my family doctor who immediately referred me to the Mental Health Unit for counselling. He gave me a survey to fill out and asked me to come back next week for a longer time to discuss more of my issues. My counsellor kept reiterating that this is my rebirth, like being born again. But, before then he had finally said something out loud that I’ve never said, myself. Transgender.
