Imagine 616 Steve and Tony meeting alternate universe Steve and Tony who are happily married and the most similar to them in almost every way except less bitter

And it turns out they’re from Earth 3490 and the one formerly known as Natasha Stark had a late in life transition and now you’ve got a Steve and Tony or Cap and Iron Man in a universe where most of the things that went wrong in 616 didn’t happen / got solved more expediently in 3490 with the two dads of the Avengers not letting anything rip them apart

So when I was a kid I kind of fell in love with this old folk tale called “The Girl who Pretended to be a Boy” wherein the main character “Fet Fruners” was a princess who was the youngest of three, who became a man and married a beautiful golden haired woman named Iliane 

But I have a question: Does anybody know what country it originated from and the cultural aspects of the story?
