I was having some fun with my new Spider-Man suit, and since I’m trans and kind of look like Peter Parker, I decided to honor that by tracing over my picture and turning myself into a cartoon! Happy Trans Day of Visibility!

Something I really love in Spider-Man fanfics is that writers sometimes just randomly indicates that Peter is trans or has ADHD or anything like that. It makes me so happy every time because it’s never something that I read in books or see in movies so when it’s finally addressed, especially when it’s with a character that I’ve always wanted to be like, it just feels so ... real? I guess??

I think you need to learn you spiderman Anon. In the comic 'Amazing fantasy 15' from 1962, where Spiderman first was introduced as a character. If you knew your Spiderman you'd know the hyphen was not always there. When Spiderman became more of a serious character for Stan Lee he added a hyphen out of worry 'Spiderman' looked to much like 'Superman' from afar. But to be fair you should also read between the lines here to, I go by Spidey not just Spiderman. Reason being I identify closest to the 2015 comic series called 'Spidey'.
