my opinion on;

character in general: eh, i like the character’s design, but i feel their characterization was a bit lacking. i don’t really blame the writers though, because omniverse is a very lighthearted show. it just isn’t within the show’s tone to get really deep into characters.how they play them: i really like how pinkie’s really filled out the characters. he’s done a ton of world building and i really respect that. i especially like how he’s gone into the nuances of vladat biology and culture. although, i feel like at times he tends to romanticize the characters as better people than they are, but that may just be personal tastesthe mun: you know i love you babe *wink wonk*

//What fandom interpretation? no, but i’m serious. there isn’t really any fandom interpretation of Argost

♤ Has your muse developed to be different from their canon selves through roleplay?

//oh well yeah, it was bound to happen because i tend to instill parts of myself into characters i rp. he’s less boisterous than he is in canon and generally more anti-social

♧ Any part of their canon portrayal you dislike?

//I don’t really like the way jay stephens intended him as a “kick puppies for fun” kind of character. i really dislike “do it for the evulz” characters because they’re extremely unrealistic. No human being tells themselves “i’m going to ruin this person’s life just for fun.” people always, ALWAYS perceive themselves as the good guy, no exceptions. even if someone does something utterly depraved and selfish, they will give themselves an internal justification for it.

and for the second thing this is actually going to go into uncomfortable territory for many people but I’m saying it anyway. as anyone who’s watched the second season of tss will tell you, argost’s behavior towards zak has very, very dark implications. obviously, nothing actually happened in the show since it’s a kid’s show, but the way argost behaves around zak was very in line with how child predators groom their victims. He targeted zak, gained his trust, isolated him, made their relationship secret, and controlled the relationship. what really matches up with child predidation is how argost basically prevented zak from tellling his parents about what was going on by instilling a sense of shame in the poor kid. i feel extremely uncomfortable playing any character that has undertones or overtones of sexual violence. it did have a place in the story, but i choose to ignore that aspect because i otherwise like the character. :T

✦ Has your own interpretation changed from when you first began playing the character?

//oh yeah. when i first started rping the character i was having a bad bought of depression, so i was very focused on playing the character by the book. now i just do whatever i want, because honestly who’s going to stop me.

✍ Has new canon material ever forced you to adjust your headcanons?

//i probably had some headcanons when i was 13 that were overturned, but i certainly can’t remember them now. besides, there hasn’t really been any new canon material since omniverse.

Something like 48 hours-ish. i can really see him pulling all nighters to complete stuff for his show

short tempered and bratty. he was very brash and got in fights a lot. probably didn’t listen to his mom.

No, actually, not at all. He doesn’t really like desserts, he really prefers savory things.

   The only person to ACTUALLY check if Timmy was asleep was Vicky, and that was mainly to make sure she still had her power over him. Which the more he thought about, the less she ACTUALLY had. True, it helped when he had his Fairies with him, but typically if she wasn’t forcing him to do chores or use him for target practice, her babysitting days weren’t AS bad as they USED to be.

   But he didn’t have to deal with her today! Something about her junior prom or something so she COULDN’T babysit this weekend. It bummed his parents out since they WANTED to go out some place, but instead they just planned a long weekend in Canada. Without him of course. Which meant next weekend might actually be long for him too... Vicky always left the worst when she got to babysit over night...

The child didn’t reply to his mother’s yelling. He only scowled and avoided her gaze, occasionally cringing when she applied snow to his scratches.

“You’re lucky you didn’t get any deep wounds... Hey! Listen to me when I’m talking to you!” The mother forcefully turned his head to face her,”You’re not going out hunting alone again, understand!?”

“W-What!? I only got a few scratches! He didn’t even bite me!”

“No! I am not losing another child.”
