Izuku still wasn’t adjusted to this whole getting gifts thing, but as soon as the tissue was pulled back from the journal. . . and the drawing-! Izuku felt a stinging in his eyes, but he held it back, instead opting for the biggest grin his face could make. He held the journal tight to his chest in a familiar fashion.
“It’s perfect- really, I love it. Thank you!” if he were less of a coward, maybe he’d have hugged him, dragged him to Todoroki so they could all really celebrate-
Instead, he snagged him by the hand, enthusing, “I got you something, too! It- it’s in my room! I haven’t- well wrapping paper’s hard, my mom’s always been good at it, but I just kinda- um, here, c’mon-!” He hurried them up the stairs, bolting back to his room. Flipping on his heel, he held up both hands in a wait gesture, and slipped into the room.
Rummage, rummage, rummage, rummage-! There was definitely a hissed almost curse as he stubbed his toe, then slid out of the room and held out a little bag. Black, with a zipper over the top, he held it out. “It’s not much, but I hope you like it!”
Inside? Three leather bands- collars, for two of them, and a matching third band as a bracelet for Shinsou to match with Yuu and Yasu! “Merry Christmas, Shinsou.”
